A network device is a server, workstation, switch, router or other device that is monitored by Tembria Server Monitor. It can be on your local network, at a remote location or over the Internet.
Our licensing is based on network devices only. You can assign as many event monitors or sensors to a device as you want.

Tembria Server Monitor includes several pre-designed dashboards showing a summary of event monitoring status.
Each dashboard is fully customizable and you can add new dashboards that you design yourself.

The Workgroup Edition supports multiple remote logins using the same account.
The Corporate Edition adds support for multiple logins with different permission levels.
The Enterprise Edition adds support for multiple logins with different permission levels and adds Windows-integrated security.
Scripting Event Monitors
For custom monitoring tasks you can use our scripting event monitors to write your own event monitors.
Our support for industry standard VBScript, JScript and PerlScript means you don't have to learn any custom programming languages and can leverage existing skills and resources.
Available as an add-on for the Workgroup Edition. Included in the Corporate Edition and Enterprise Edition.
Graphs and Trend Data
Tembria Server Monitor collects data every time an event monitor runs and uses this data to provide graphs and trend data.
It's a great way to see ping response times, disk space usage, CPU usage and many other metrics as they change over time.
Included in the Corporate and Enterprise Editions only.
SNMP Event Monitors
Our SNMP event monitors help you to monitor switches, routers and other SNMP-enabled devices.
Our SNMP Bandwidth, Process and Uptime event monitors provide easy monitoring even if you have little or no experience with SNMP.
With our generic SNMP event monitor you can roll up your sleeves and monitor any set of OIDs that you select.
Available as an add-on for the Corporate Edition. Included in the Enterprise Edition only.
SQL Data Export of Graph Data
The Enterprise Edition includes the ability to continuously export graph data to a SQL Server database so it can merged with other warehouse data and further analyzed.

Support and Maintenance Renewal
One full year of support and upgrades is included in the purchase prices. After the first year you may choose to renew for another year at a cost of about 20% of the current license cost.
If you choose not to renew, you can continue to use the version that you already have.
Site License / MSP License
One license for Tembria Server Monitor allows you to install the monitoring service on one machine. From that one machine you can monitor many other machines.
If you want to install on more than one machine you can purchase additional licenses or purchase a site license that lets you use the software anywhere in your organization even at multiple locations.

With the failover monitor monitoring option you have can install a second instance of Tembria Server Monitor that watches your primary monitoring server and takes over if the primary is down.

The Enterprise Edition includes our Exchange Server Performance event monitor which watches key performance values for Exchange Server.
It also includes our Active Directory event monitor which warns you about new/changed/removed users and computers in Active Directory.
