Tembria Server Monitor - Monitoring Event Logs
Scenario Summary:
Tembria Server Monitor is used to watch Windows event log on a large number of machines with just one event monitor.

Scenario 4: Monitoring Event Logs
A customer uses Tembria Server Monitor to watch event logs on over 100 servers in their datacentre. Using just one event monitor, all servers are checked for specified event log records. With their previous monitoring solution a lot more work was required because one event monitor had to be added for each individual machine.

Tembria Server Monitor's ability to associate one event monitor with multiple servers allowed the customer to quickly and easily set up monitoring for all of their servers. When configuration changes are required, the event monitor is changed once and the settings apply to all servers automatically.

This flexibility allows for easy management and eliminated the tedious manual updates required by their previous monitoring solution.
