Tembria Server Monitor - Multiple Devices, Same Settings
Multiple Devices, Same Settings
Unlike other products, Tembria Server Monitor can check multiple devices using the same settings. For example, you can set a ping event monitor to watch every one of your critical servers and warn you if any of them aren't responding. The same warning threshold, notification options and monitoring schedule are shared for all of the selected servers. When it comes time to update your monitoring configuration you can make the change in one place and it is applied for all of the selected servers.
Selecting by Group Name
Tembria Server Monitor also includes the ability to assign an event monitor to all of the devices in a particular group. Then as you add devices to the group the event monitor immediately detects them and will monitor them on its next run.
Cloning Event Monitors
There are always a few machines that need special treatment either because the need to be monitored on a more frequent basis or they require different types of notifications to be sent out. Tembria Server Monitor makes this easy too. Just right-click on the event monitor and choose the option to "Clone Event Monitor". An exact copy of the original event monitor will be created and you can simply edit it to make the necessary changes.
