Tembria Server Monitor - Sending Notifications
Step-by-Step
1. Go to the "Notifications" section of your event monitor.
Sending Notifications
2. Select your preferred notification types. 3. Apply your changes.
When something goes wrong Tembria Server Monitor can let you know using one
of twelve different notification options. It can send you e-mail, play a sound,
show a popup message and more. With a voice modem installed it can even
call you on your cell phone or land line and play a message for you.
E-mail Notifications
E-mail notifications are the workhorse of any monitoring system and Tembria
Server Monitor has robust support for them. Included are templates for
HTML, text and compact notifications. Templates are completely customizable
so you can customize the look and content to match your requirements.
Voice Notifications
Plus, our built-in distribution list abilities make it easy to manage who
receives notifications for each time of monitoring that you've configured.
When something goes really wrong you need to get on the phone and that's
exactly what Tembria Server Monitor can do. With a voice-enabled modem installed
in the machine it can call you on your cell phone or land line and play a message
so you know what happened. If you don't answer it will even leave you voice mail.
Notifications Profiles
There are twelve types of notifications and they include showing a popup message,
playing a sound file, running scripts, running external programs and a lot more.
Notifications Profiles
With our notification profiles you can group together a set of notification types
and then select it by name instead of entering your settings for each event monitor.
It makes managing your notification types really easy.
