windows log monitor event monitor Description  The Windows Event log monitor lets you monitor log events on a remote machine. It is particularly useful for monitoring application and hardware failures and notifications. Most Windows applications will write to the Windows event log when an unexpected condition occurs. Windows itself uses the System event log to record many events. With this event monitor you can monitor event logs and receive notifications if they have become full and are no longer accepting new events. You can also watch for specific event log entries that indicate critical events or other events that you wish to keep track of. table of contents |
