Event Monitors
An event monitor is a task that runs on a selected schedule and checks for
specified conditions, usually on one or more network devices.
Just like network devices, you can organize your event monitors using
groups and subgroups. Tembria Server Monitor includes a large number of
event monitor types. To add an event monitor, right-click on a group
or subgroup and select "Add Event Monitor". A wizard will lead you
through the steps of selecting and configuring the event monitor.
Each event monitor type has its own settings that are specific to type
of monitoring that it will perform. Feel free to browse the list of
event monitors and see what options they offer. Detailed help for each
event monitor type is available from the table of contents of this document.
