the network devices section
Network Devices
A "network device" is any element on the network that you may wish to monitor.
This can include servers, workstations, routers, switches, printers and many
other kinds devices.
Network devices are organized into groups. After installing Tembria Server
Monitor, a group called "My Computer" will be created and it will contain
an entry for your local machine.
You can add new groups by right-clicking on the Network Devices item and
groups can have subgroups in as many levels as you choose.
To add devices to a group, right-click on the group and choose "Add Network Devices".
You can also use the "Search for Network Devices" option to automatically
detect devices on your network. The images at the right show some of the
steps in the device detection wizard.
The Detection Wizard is the best way to add a relatively large number of
network devices at once. Remember, however you can always quickly add
network devices by right-clicking on a group and selecting
the Add Network Devices option.
