remote registry event monitor
Description
The Remote Registry event monitor helps you to monitor values in the Windows registry on remote machines. Most applications store some of their data in the registry and Windows itself makes extensive use of it to store configuration settings. Using this event monitor you can watch arbitrary registry values on multiple machines and warn based on the values detected.

Usage Tips
Select the registry root and specify the key and value to check. Often the best way to determine the exact value that you want to use is to run the Windows Registry Editor (regedit.exe) and browse to the location in the registry that you wish to monitor.

Important: Be sure to use the Authentication button to specify the credentials to use when connecting to the remote machine. By default the Tembria Network Monitor service runs in the Local System account and may not be able to access the registry on remote machines unless credentials are specified.
