sensatronics event monitor Description The Sensatronics event monitor by Tembria can connect to a local or remote Sensatronics device to check the values of each probe. If a specified threshold has been exceeded then you can be notified by any of Tembria Network Monitor's built-in notification mechanisms. The event monitor connects to Sensatronics devices using the HTTP protocol. Usage Tips Enter the address of the Sensatronics device you wish to connect to and press the tab key. The event monitor will connect to the device and retrieve names of each probe on the device. To verify that probe values are being retrieved, press the Test button. The event monitor will connect to the device and show the current values for each probe. This event monitor supports the Senatronics EM1, E4 and E16 models. To find out if other models are supported, contact Tembria technical support. If the Sensatronics device has been configured to use a port other than 80 (the standard HTTP) port, append a colon and a port number to the address of the device (e.g. monitordevice:4040). If the option to keep probe value histories is selected, the event monitor will write to a .CSV file after each run, recording the values of all probes. These files can be easily imported into Excel or other tools to produce graphs and detailed analysis of probe value over time. table of contents |
