sql server performance event monitor Description 
The SQL Server Performance event monitor connects to a SQL Server database server and
can monitor various performance counters, warning you when one or more
of them exceeds a defined threshold.
A number of often-used performance counters are available to choose from and you can select whether to warn when go over or below a specified value. SQL Server offers a large number of performance counters and this event monitor provides an easy-to-use way to select from the most popular of them.
