Description
This Windows service event monitor checks to see if a specified service is present and running on a remote machine. On Windows servers, many important applictions run as services. Examples include, Internet Information Services (IIS), Microsoft SQL Server and other database products.

The event monitor settings window will show the services running on the first of the selected network devices. You can enter the name of a different network device and use the refresh button to see the services running on it.

Select the checkbox beside the services to be monitored. The options at the bottom of the dialog box allow you to select the conditions to check and to start or stop services that are not found to be in the selected state.
