Tembria Server Monitor - Adding Network Devices
Step-by-Step
1. Right-click on "Network Devices" in the tree.
2. Select "Add Network Devices."
3. Enter the names of your servers or other devices and press OK.
or
1. Expand the "Tools" item in the tree.
2. Select "Device Finder".
3. Enter a range of IP addresses to check and press "Find Devices".
4. Refresh web browser to view current status. 5. When the search is complete, select the devices to add.
Adding Network Devices
After installation is complete the first step is to add your network devices. A "network device" is any server, workstation, switch, router, printer or other device that resides on the network.
To add devices, just right-click on the Network Devices item in the tree on the left side of the user interface. In the menu that appears, select "Add Network Devices".
If you would prefer to search the network for devices, go to the Tools section of the tree and select the Device Finder. The device finder can scan your network for devices and then let you choose which ones to add to Tembria Server Monitor.
