Device Graphs Tab
The "Graphs" tab for a network device gives you access to a variety of historical data for the device. Each time an event monitor checks a device it saves one or more data points that record data about the check. Each event monitor saves different types of data points depending on what its role is. For example, a Ping event monitor will save the average and maximum response time. Drive Space event monitors will save total space used, space available and space available as a percentage. All event monitor record a data point indicating whether the check was successful or not.
Underneath the graph a set of controls allow you to select values you want to see. By default a graph is used to show the data but you can instead choose to show the data in a table.
The next option allows you to select which event monitor and data set you want to display. There will be one entry for each event monitor assigned to the selected device.
Tembria Server Monitors offers a set of popular graph sizes. You can choose the size of the graph in order to choose the right size to present the data best. Don't forget that you can use copy and paste in your web browser to use a graph in your presentations or other documents. When you select a graph size notice that the size is display in the address bar in the section that reads, for example, "width=480&height=320". If you need to adjust the size a bit in order to use it in your document, you can edit the values in the address bar and press Enter.
