Event Monitor Network Device Settings
Network Devices Section
In this section you tell the event monitor which devices it is going to check.
You can enter device names in the text box or use the Device Chooser to select
them from a list. If you enter a device that has not already been added to
Tembria Server Monitor, you will be asked whether you want to add it automatically
when you press the Apply Changes button.
Using the Device Chooser
Instead of enter the device names manually you can use the Device Chooser.
The Device Chooser lets you select devices from a list of all devices that
have been entered into Tembria Server Monitor. Just turn on the checkbox
beside the devices that you want to use.
The Device Chooser also provides access to some advanced monitoring options.
Using the dropdown box at the top of the Device Chooser window you can
select to monitor using by Device Group or by Device Tag.
If you select a device group, the event monitor will check all of the devices
in that group and in its subgroups, if any. If you add a new device to the
group, the event monitor will automatically check it the next time it runs.
Similarly, you can choose to monitor by device tag. The event monitor will
then check every device that one or more of the tags that you select.
